Selangor

Selangor is the Malaysian state with many superlatives: it is the most developed in the country, it has the largest port and airport, it houses most institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, its infrastructure and communications facilities are among the best in the region, and so on. But Selangor is also one of the most fascinating and scenic destinations in Malaysia, providing visitors a delightful, never-ending discovery.
Selangor is located on the west coast of Peninsula Malaysia, covering about 125,000 sq. km. The natural vegetation varies from coastal mangroves to lush tropical rainforest. Agricultural use is varied, and fishing villages dot the coastline. The climate averages about 260 degree Celcius (800F) with a relative humidity of about 8%. Selangor has been called the gateway to Malaysia, given its strategic location on all major travel routes.
Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah International Airport. The North-South Highway provides convenient access to Selangor from Thailand, Singapore and all parts of the peninsula. Buses are also a practical way of getting about within Selangor, with bus stations at all main towns, including but not limited to Shah Alam Kuala, Selangor, Klang, Kajang, Petaling Jaya, and Kuala Kubu Baru.

Penang

A fascinating fusion of the East and West, Penang embraces modernity while retaining its traditions and old world charm. These are reflected in its harmonious multiracial populace and well-preserved heritage buildings which led to George Town being accorded a listing as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site recently. Long regarded as the food capital of Malaysia, Penang also entices visitors with its beautiful coasts and scrumptious cuisines.
